The News Bulletin, Reflections, Images, and Videos for Corpus Christi (May 29)

May 30, 2016

The above video shows what are called Our Lord’s “words of institution” at the Last Supper. We watched it just before our 10 a.m. Service on May 29.

Embedded below are the 3 pieces of music that were also shown on our screens before our 10 a.m. Service, to help prepare us for worship. Each of them speaks of having a hunger that only Jesus, the Bread of Life, can fill.

Below are a video we watched, and words I shared immediately afterwards, in the sermon time at our May 29 Services.

Today we remember that Jesus gave his all for us. He shared everything to satisfy our deepest hunger and thirst. Jesus, the Bread that came down from heaven, was given to us, broken for us, so that we may share his life forever. As his body, filled with his life, we have bread to share with others, indeed we ourselves can be bread, broken and shared, so that all of us together are fed. May it be so. Amen.

The video embedded below was played after the Dismissal, as we set out into the world with thankful hearts.
