At Our Ladies’ Luncheon, Holly Lafont Shared with Us How God’s Love Transforms Lives Through Operation Christmas Child

November 5, 2013

At our Ladies’ Luncheon on Saturday, we began our day with excellent food and fellowship. Then, after lunch, Holly Lafont shared with us her life-changing experiences with Operation Christmas Child in Costa Rica in 2012! All of us were inspired by Holly’s message of how we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to spread God’s love in the world. Thank you, Laura Anne, for arranging for Holly to come and be with us!

More information about Operation Christmas Child, including how to pack a shoebox, can be accessed by clicking here. Holly reminded us that the most important thing to fill shoeboxes with is love, while praying that God will direct each box we fill to the child God has prepared to receive it. Empty shoeboxes are available on an Operation Christmas Child display table in the Hall.

Embedded below is a video Holly showed us, in which a young man named Luis tells how his life was transformed through receiving an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.
