As the above poster says, at St. Paul’s our second session in the DVD Study “The Path to the Cross” is taking place  at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, and 12 noon on Sunday, February 24. This session has two DVD presentations, one on John the Baptist, and the other on Jesus’ Temptations in the Wilderness. “The Path to the Cross” is the eleventh volume in the “Faith Lessons” series with Ray Vander Laan, three volumes of which we have watched together and enjoyed as a Parish. Known for its spectacular photography of the Holy Land, this Series is often described as “the next best thing” to being physically present there. We’ll be concluding the Study next Wednesday, February 27, and Sunday, March 3.

Here are the videos we’ll be watching and discussing:

Week 2 (February 20 and 24): “The Way of John the Baptist”
and “Into the Desert to Be Tested.”

Week 3 (February 27 and March 3): “The Last Passover – Jerusalem”
and “The Fifth Cup: Our Way of Hope – Gethsemane.”

Embedded below are two video clips to give a taste of the what the Study will be like. The first is an excerpt from “The Way of John the Baptist.” The second is a trailer for the Faith Lessons Volume 11 set of videos.

YOU ARE INVITED!
