As the above poster says, at St. Paul’s we’re beginning the Sunday version of the DVD Study “The Path to the Cross” at 12 noon tomorrow, February 17. This is the same Study that 11 of us watched on Ash Wednesday. It’s the eleventh volume in the “Faith Lessons” series with Ray Vander Laan, three volumes of which we have watched together and enjoyed as a Parish. We’ll be sharing this Study this year for the first half of Lent, on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Sundays at 12 noon.

Here are the videos we’ll be watching and discussing:

Week 1 (February 13 and 17): “The Way of the Essenes – Qumran”

Week 2 (February 20 and 24): “The Way of John the Baptist – Machaerus”
and “Into the Desert to Be Tested – En Gedi”

Week 3 (February 27 and March 3): “The Last Passover – Jerusalem”
and “The Fifth Cup: Our Way of Hope – Gethsemane.”

Embedded below are two video clips to give a taste of the what the Study will be like. The first is an excerpt from “The Way of John the Baptist.” The second is a trailer for the Faith Lessons Volume 11 set of videos.
