You’re Invited to “A Day Away” with Jesus This Saturday at St. Paul’s

February 5, 2013

Lenten Quiet Day

We have the opportunity of embarking upon an early start to Lent from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Saturday, February 9, by “coming away” and sharing together at St. Paul’s a day in prayer and reflection with our Beloved. The day will be spent in silent stillness, except for lunchtime and our sharing just before Holy Eucharist at the end of the day. As our guide for the day, we’ll use the Lenten reflections on the different parts of the Lord’s Prayer from Donna Fletcher Crow’s book Seasons of Prayer. As above the poster says (which will enlargen if you click on it), lunch will be provided, but it won’t be pizza as the poster pictures. Instead, we’ll share the same kind of wraps we had for our Annual Meeting (thank you to Dinah Breu for picking these up).

You are invited to come and spend as long as you desire, whether it’s 15 minutes or the full 5 hours, in this time of intimate fellowship with Jesus.
