Mary Lee is Resting Safely in the Arms of Jesus

July 11, 2012

For many months, we have been offering up earnest prayer at St. Paul’s for Mary Lee, the mother of our Parish Secretary, Laura Anne Fink. Mary entered eternal life with the Lord on July 8, peacefully, and with LA and other members of her family by her side. Mary showed incredible strength as she lived with cancer, inspiring us all with the great courage and strength she received from God to spend as much time on this earth as she possibly could with her family, before going home. We give thanks to the Lord for the gift of Mary’s life, and we commit her into his eternal keeping.

Rest eternal grant to Mary, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her. Wrap your arms of love around Laura Anne, Chris, Daniel, Andrew, and all the family, and be their comfort and strength to sustain them in their deep need. This we ask in the Name of the One who is the Resurrection and the Life, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Here is the Obituary for Mary, from the website of Blair and Son Funeral Home in Perth, Ontario:
