Our First “Triple C” Service is This Sunday

January 20, 2012

Our first ever “Triple C” Service is scheduled for 10 a.m. this Sunday, January 22. The three “C”‘s stand for “Christ-centred,” “Creative,” and “Compact.” You are invited to come and share this special worship experience. We are in the middle of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which takes place each year between the Feasts of the Confession of St. Peter on January 18 and the Conversion of St. Paul on January 25. This year, the material for the Week of Prayer has been put together by Christians from Poland. Part of the “creative” aspect of our Triple C Service this Sunday will involve Polish Christmas Eve wafers called “opłatki,” pictured above (to find out more, you’ll have to come!). In keeping with the third “C,” we are planning for the Service to be an hour in length. Please remember that, unlike when we had our Intergenerational Services last year, there WILL be Sunday School available. You are warmly invited to come, if you are able, and to invite your family, friends, and neighbours to come with you!
