Traditional Gaelic Blessing

October 17, 2011

[I forgot to include this with last week’s postings. We shared this traditional Gaelic Blessing at the end of our 8:30 and 10 a.m. Services on Thanksgiving Sunday:]

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon yo
ur face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,
may you be held in the hollow of God’s hand.
Amen.
